Today we are celebrating Earth Day. For me, the two main areas of focus are planting trees, and ending plastic pollution which is harming oceans and land affecting plant and animal life. Here are the relevant links:

I have already started reducing my use of plastic.
I was very excited to discover this article on new research which could change recycling dramatically by using a protein which makes plastic bio-degradable now rather than many years down the line, so reducing the amount in landfill sites.
